SUMMER UPDATE

Erie County Fair
The Society will be in the conservation building at the Erie County Fair, August 6th through August 17th.  Show your support and stop in to check out our display.  The conservation building will be hosting DEMO DAYS – featuring a DEMO from a group or organization.  Stop in to chat with the NYS DEC, visit “Homer” the snapping turtle and be sure to check out all the building participants.

Family Picnic

Women in the Outdoors

The Springville Strutter chapter of the NWTF sponsored this event on June 14, 2025 in slightly overcast, but pleasant weather.  There were 31 attendees that participated in seven classes:

  1. Archery
  2. Self-Defense
  3. Mushrooms
  4. Outdoor cooking
  5. Shotgun/Trap
  6. Bluebirds Bluebird Houses
  7. Gardening

Everyone that attended had a great time participating in outdoor related activites, mentored by experienced individuals that share a passion for the outdoors.

After a busy day of activities, participants retired to the air conditioned club house to enjoy food, prizes and raffles!
